August-Wilhelm Scheer Visiting Professorship at the Technische Universitat Munchen (TUM)

CMSE Professor Mark Iwen was awarded an August-Wilhelm Scheer Visiting Professorship at the Technische Universitat Munchen (TUM) for May 2016.  This award includes an honorary induction into the TUM institute of advanced study.  

UM August-Wilhelm Scheer Visiting Professors enrich the vibrant research culture at TUM with innovative approaches and explore new, cutting-edge research fields. Named after Prof. August-Wilhelm Scheer, a renowned pioneer in the field of Computer Science and TUM Distinguished Affiliated Professor, this Visiting Professorship is awarded to scientists with an outstanding international reputation who wish to engage in an intensive collaboration with TUM researchers. August-Wilhelm Scheer Visiting Professorships are available for short stays (two weeks up to three months) or long stays (three months up to two semesters).
