The Michigan Institute for Plasma Science and Engineering (MIPSE) brings plasma researchers at the University of Michigan and Michigan State University together to investigate and translate advances in plasma science into society to benefit technologies.

MIPSE sponsors fellowships to students pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Plasma Science and Engineering (PSE). The fellows are incoming or current students, and they receive a $4,500 grant that can be used for any advisor approved enhancement to their research. Fellows will also have the opportunity to be partners with MIPSE on many projects.

Again, congratulations to CMSE graduate student Lucas Stanek, with advisor and CMSE faculty Michael Murillo, on receiving this rewarding fellowship!
