Professor Zayernouri, the director of FMATH group in CMSE, is organizing a mini-symposium on "New Trends in Computational Methods for Fractional PDEs: Theory, Numerics, and Applications" with Prof. George Em Karniadakis (from Brown University) in
the International Conference on Spectral and High-Order Methods (ICOSAHOM2016), held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, June 27th--July 1st
(http://www.icosahom2016.org/).

ICOSAHOM, being held every other year alternatively inside and outside the USA, is a big event that brings together the top researchers and practitioners with profound interest in the theoretical, computational and applied aspects of high-order and spectral methods for the solution of differential and partial differential equations.
