Postdoctoral Scholar - Plasma Simulation and Machine Learning.

Berkeley Lab's Scalable Solvers Group in the Applied Mathematics and Computational Research Division has an opening for a Postdoctoral Scholar in the area of plasma simulation and machine learning. The project involves the development of alternatives to particle-in-cell algorithms, as well as machine learning based surrogate simulators for kinetic modeling of particle accelerators and fusion devices.
