CMSE Faculty Kathleen Colbry Received the Withrow Excellence in Diversity Awards
We would like to congratulate CMSE Faculty Kathleen Luchini-Colbry in her achievement as the awardess of the Withrow Excellence in Diversity Awards. Luchini-Colbry is the Assistant Dean for Graduate Student Services at the College of Engineering. She is also Co-Director of the NSF-funded CyberAmbassadors Program and Director of the Engineering Futures Program of Tau Beta Pi, the Engineering Honor Society. Together, these programs provide interactive seminars on communications, teamwork, and leadership skills to thousands of STEM students and professionals each year.
The Withrow Excellence in Diversity Awards recognize faculty and staff members who demonstrate outstanding achievement in advancing diversity through research, teaching, and outreach. This award is a part of the 35th Annual Engineering Awards - the highest recognition the college can bestow, and winners represent outstanding talent, dedication, and excellence in various positions throughout the Spartan Engineering community.
